The later chapters deal specifically with the synthesis and analysis of several Aurivillius phase ferroelectric oxides and provide an in depth study of their structural behaviour as a function of temperature. About the Author

Rene Macquart is a researcher in the field of solid state chemistry. He received his PhD in 2003 from the University of Sydney, Australia. His work includes the use of both synthetic powder techniques and the growth of single crystals for structure and properties determination of inorganic materials.
