Third revised edition, 1927. Very good. A handsome copy. No former owner names. 750 pages, with index, well illustrated. Andrade is best known for work (with Ernest Rutherford) that first determined the wavelength of a type of gamma radiation, proving it was far higher in energies than X-rays known at the time. This title is his earliest work, during this transformative theoretical era of physics.
