Nice copy of this out of print and uncommon examination of Joyce's anticlassic classic Finnegans Wake, an insightful look into the most difficult of works. This copy is the first American edition, 1962, in pictorial DJ. Altogether a clean and decent copy. From the home of a tobacco smoker, so there is a faint aroma for those with sensitive noses, and the spine is slightly toned from smoke exposure, though neither is terribly offensive. Binding solid, sturdy, square, though there are two very small areas at the gutter of the front pastedown where the paper is mildly punctured - does not effect integrity of binding as of this writing and should maintiain for years. Interior is clean, free of marks of any kind. Dustjacket is clean and well intact, as mentioned some toning to spine from smoke, otherwise just one small closed tear and some very light rubbed / scuffed areas especially to some of the edges and corners.
