About the Authors

Gregory A Petsko studied chemistry and classics as an undergraduate at Princeton University before going to Oxford as a Rhodes scholar to work for his PhD with David Philips. He is currently Director of the Rosentiel Center at Brandeis University.

Dagmar Ringe graduated in chemistry from Barnard College, Columbia, and took her PhD in bioorganic chemistry from Boston University. She is currently Professor of Biochemistry and Chemistry at Brandeis University.

Chrystelle Sanlaville est titulaire d'une ma�trise de biochimie de l'Universit� Paris VI. Apr�s un stage dans un laboratoire de recherche sur les myopathies mitochondriales de Clermont-Ferrand, elle s'est consacr�e � la traduction d'ouvrages de biochimie, g�n�tique, etc. pour les �ditions De Boeck Sup�rieur.
