Stuck in her shell Is about a crab named Shelby. She's in love with her shell, she admires her shell, and she loves everything about it. Shelby was getting too big for her shell. She is having a hard time getting rid of her shell because it means so much to her. She had this shell for a long time, and trying to find a new shell isn't easy. Shelby has a hard time finding a new shell, that's why she is "stuck in her shell" because she don't want to get rid of it. So her mom and her friends help her try to find a shell that she would love.

About the Author

Derrin Gleaton, is a children's book author in Charlotte NC Making A Huge Impact on the community. He is someone you should really know about! He has three children books out called: You Can Be Fly, Let's Stick Together, and Just Bee Yourself. They are all located in local book stores like The Park Road Book Store and The Paper Skyscraper. His books can also be found on all major online platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Barnes and Nobles, and more. He has made a guest appearance on Spectrum News and WCCB news, and many newspaper articles. He also have been recognized and awarded The "Reading Hero" of Read Charlotte Reading Hero Award for his amazing work and giving back to the community here in Charlotte NC. Right now he is on A GiveBack Tour: His goal is to give back to the community by giving his time and going to different schools and PreK's reading to their students. This year he has read at several schools and also had a few reading days in the community at The Archive and Park rd books. "GIVEBACK TOUR". The GIVEBACK TOUR is where he goes to different elementary schools and spread joy, have fun, read my books, dance with the kids, and just have a Fun time. He also have three children songs out on all platforms "Let's Stick Together, A Good Day, and The Alphabet Train." These Three songs encourage children as well as adults to have a good day, and to stick together. I also make content for children on my YouTube channel Mr. SwaggBow teaching kids rhyming words.
