Student-Owned Learning: It’s more than the teaching; it’s about the learning contains a repository of the authors’ in-depth experience working authentically with classroom teachers. The information described in this book demonstrates the competencies that teachers have requested and provides them with ideas to lead their students to own their learning. This book covers areas that produce a student-owned classroom, including passion in teaching, curriculum development, strengthening student achievement, engagement approaches, and assessment. The main difference in this book as opposed to others is that it will propel teachers to creating student-led learning by following the varied collection of researched-based ideas. This book encompasses several integral educational assumptions that will prompt educators to build a deeper understanding on the journey to increasing student achievement.
