About the Author -
Dr. Thavamani, a dedicated physician with a remarkable 35-year career spanning OBGYN, General Practice, School Health Services, Family Medicine, Women and Child Health, Basic Cosmetology, and Mental Health First Aid, brings a wealth of experience to her role. Having served both in India and abroad, she has spent the last 25 years in the UAE, contributing as a General Practitioner, Medical Director, and Executive Health Administrator.
Dr. Thavamani is a trailblazer, being among one of the first fulltime school doctors in Dubai, reflecting her commitment to
holistic healthcare. Her expertise extends to medical and spiritual counselling, Yoga Instructor, health education, research, and healthcare management. Passionate about empowering women and children, she advocates for a holistic approach to health, sharing her wealth of experiences to benefit parents in raising healthier children.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Thavamani finds joy in traveling, nature walks, reading, yoga, and spiritual practices. With the mantra “Individual Peace-world Peace,” she envisions all as peace ambassadors, aiming to impact a million parents for a healthier and harmonious community.
