William Stanley Jevons (1835 â " 1882) was an English economist and logician His Studies in Deductive Logic, consisting mainly of exercises and problems for the use of students, was published in 1880, this being a second edition This copy is overall good with only slight age toning A school library label on the inside front cover has been partially peeled off, but indicates it was part of a bequest from C G Kiddell, a teacher who apparently taught at Barnet in England His ownership signature and the date of 1887 are on the half title Slight water staining on the front cover and the bottom lower back of the spine is beginning to split, but otherwise good 304 pp plus 40 pages of publisher's catalogue .
