Kent P. Jackson holds a Ph.D. in ancient Near Eastern and biblical studies. The author of several books, including The Restored Gospel and the Book of Genesis, Joseph Smith�s Commentary on the Bible, and From Apostasy to Restoration, he is a professor of ancient scripture at BYU. He and his wife, Nancy, have five children.
