See photos for condition details. Hardcover, dark green cloth boards with gilt on front and spine. Exterior shows some scuffing and minor spotting along with light edge and corner wear. The internal binding is good except for the very small openings starting at the front board near the top, which measures about one half of an inch. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, nothing underlined, no pages torn or loose. The only evidence of handwriting found in the book is at the top of the front end page, where it is possible that something was written in pencil and then later erased. The book contains collected reprints, publications from the research Institute of Cutaneous Medicine, extracted from the American Journal of the Medical Sciences the American Journal of Syphilis. Each of the 32 different articles are numbered independently.

Yesterday's Book Shop is a small, family-owned establishment. The store first opened in Maryland in 1966 under the name The Collector's Corner, which mainly dealt in older books, stamps and assorted ephemera. In 1975 the name was changed to Yesterday's Book Shop when the main focus became only books and printed matter.
