xvi, 240p. Publishers cloth over boards. The author, Morgan Callaway (1862-1936), was an Professor of at University of Texas in Austin. Aside from his scholarly writing, he was known for his uncompromising standards in the teaching of English composition and grammar. Small spot at the upper left corner of the front board. The label 'Complements of Morgan Callaway Jr was partially attached over the authors printed name and due to folding has created a small tear at the inner margin between the label and the title page. Not affecting any text. Otherwise internally a fresh clean copy. Scarce in the original edition.
