Study Guide to Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences: A Companion to the American Psychiatric Publishing Textbook of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences

Study Guide to Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences is a question-and-answer companion that allows you to evaluate your mastery of the subject matter as you progress through the corresponding textbook. The Study Guide is made up of 246 questions divided into individual quizzes of 5-10 questions each that correspond to chapters in The American Psychiatric Publishing Textbook of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, Fifth Edition. Questions are followed by an Answer Guide that references relevant text (including the page number) in the Textbook to allow quick access to needed information. Each answer is accompanied by a discussion that addresses not only the correct response but also explains why other responses are not correct.

The Study Guide's companion, the fifth edition of The American Psychiatric Publishing Textbook of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, expanded its focus on the neurosciences to encompass the great strides that have been made in the basic and clinical sciences. First published as the only multiauthored, comprehensive textbook in the field, the Textbook has been updated to reflect the explosive growth in the neurosciences-structural and functional brain imaging, electrophysiology and electrodiagnosis, cell and molecular biology, genetics, and neuropsychopharmacology-increasing the already impressive clinical utility and practicality of this seminal work. The contributors-all recognized experts-cover basic principles of neuropsychiatry, assessment, symptomatologies, specific disorders, treatments, and special topics such as ethical/legal and educational/certification issues.
