Study Skills for Learning Power offers a conversational, question-generated approach that empowers students to direct their own learning and study habits and to integrate information more effectively. Students learn the basics of test-taking, note-taking, textbook reading, and critical thinking, while also focusing on self-improvement techniques for time and stress management, goal setting, and problem solving.
Regina Hellyer received a B.A. from Edgecliff College in Cincinnati and an M.Ed. from the University of Cincinnati. At Raymond Walters College of the University of Cincinnati, she has taught study skills, composition and reading. She is Director of the reading program and Co-director of the study skills program. Currently, in collaboration with a colleague, she is custom publishing two reading textbooks.
