Study Skills for Life

Study is a process of knowing how to read and understand data so that you can use it in your life.

Successful study leads to self-satisfaction and success. It is only unsuccessful when you hit the three barriers to study and don t know what to do about them. These barriers, enough to make a slow learner out of any student, are the only reasons one gets distracted or can t concentrate. Study Skills for Life shows how to handle them.

Ages 12 to 15.

Effective Education Publishing is proud to introduce the work of bestselling American author and humanitarian,

L. Ron Hubbard, to the field of education. Mr. Hubbard's extensive research and writings on the subject of learning and study provide unique insights into the underlying causes of student behavior. Why do students drop out? What causes a student to lose interest in a subject, to become bored or frustrated and unable to concentrate on his studies? Why do so many students say without hesitation that they "hate school"?

Central to Mr. Hubbard's educational findings is a delineation of the primary barriers to learning, never before recognized and yet constituting the underlying reasons for academic failures. The materials contained in his books are actual practical appplication procedures and methods to recognize and overcome these learning barriers on an individual basis, to motivate a student and give him the means to grasp, understand and be able to apply any subject. These are educational breakthroughs that have been successfully tested with consistent results by parents, teachers and students the world over.
