A Study in Victory Red

June 1946.
London, England.

A murdered man. A mysterious woman. A cryptic note.

Irene Holmes—daughter of the long-retired Sherlock Holmes—spent the war years assisting her childhood friend, Detective Eddy Lestrade, using her sharp eye and sharper mind to uncover what others miss. Now, in a city still shadowed by war, her talents are more valuable than ever.

While searching for a new place to live, Irene meets Joe, a man who finds her instantly intriguing and has more than enough opinions to match her own.

When a baffling murder lands on Eddy’s desk, Irene is asked to assist on the puzzling case. A cryptic message left in a mysterious red substance and clues lingering from the war point in too many directions, and toward far too many suspects.

Drawn into the investigation, Joe becomes an unlikely partner as Irene follows the trail through the uneasy streets of post-war London. Together, they must untangle a web of secrets before the killer strikes again.
