The original "All the Stuff..." book was a collaboration of two authors that came to the same conclusion from differing perspectives. One was technically inclined. After years of providing assistance and help to others and being encouraged to write a book to help others, took that step. The other is a superb communicator and educator and felt there was much lacking in the books and information available about the RV lifestyle. They shared a desire to fill that void.
All the Stuff You Need to Know About RVing provides a solid foundation for those thinking about exploring the RV lifestyle. Seasoned RVers have enjoyed reading the hints and ideas they could incorporate into their travels.
This major revision of All the Stuff You Need to Know About RVing comes at a time when the RV industry has been changed by the economic times. Some well known manufacturers have gone away and many dealers have closed. Service, parts, and access to technical help has decreased nationwide. Yet, we believe the RV industry will always be there, waiting for you, although looking a bit different from the past.

First, this book is for two different groups.
One is the first-time buyer those totally new to RVing but possibly not new to camping. The information throughout this book is specifically directed at camping on wheels and definitely leans toward the larger RVs both drivables and towables. The second group is experienced RVers who want to get into a larger or different type of RV. This could be someone that may own a pickup camper but wants to move to a 5th wheel, or that may own a towable unit (5th wheel or travel trailer) and may want to move to a motorhome, or someone that owns a gas motorhome and wants to move to a diesel pusher. This book will help. Much of the information is usable in virtually every RV.
Our content will not go out of date. Other innovations will be developed but the basics and processes of RVing remain the same.

Bob Lowe began camping with his parents in a small travel trailer in the early 1960s. He ventured out alone with a tent strapped to his motorcycle in 1966. He operates an Internet-based RV parts business focused on motorhome safety equipment and supplies.
