Very funny, and illustrated with over a hundred photographs, this highly entertaining autobiography is full of the people, stories and experiences from Jimmy Perry’s childhood in London, his time in the Home Guard, as a Gunner in Burma, as a member of the Royal Artillery Concert Party entertaining the troops in India, and much more. These are the stories that inspired many of the characters and scenes from his much-loved comedies.
