New edition probably 3rd edition), 8vo, 522pp, with maps and numerous engravings on wood, 8 of which are full-page; bound up by Cambridge Board of Education in full leather, presumably as some sort of prize, although apart from their crest in gilt to fr board, there is no further evidence of this; the leather however bears the scars of a dust-up with h2o at some time in its long life, the tide-lines still visible but not offensive; some dust foxing mainly to prelims; marbled endpapers, all edges gilt; by and large a utility binding but one which has survived decently, G/VG Copy Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.
