Subway Life: An Underground Guide to Balanced Living

Life is often like a subway ride. Actually, it's more like riding the subway without holding on. The subway is simply a microcosm of life - every day, the rhythm and diversity of all humanity is there on display, whether it's competition (making a run for that prime seat), or choosing to hide in a favorite paperback. Who will start up a conversation? What could a hello lead to? Subway Life is a simple metaphor for the everyday, and for the situations we all face. Subway Life is about life and how we choose to live it.

"I used to like the 6 train, because it was predictable and simple. Now, though, I find myself drawn to the 7 to Queens, because it's weird and flaky, and most of all, thrilling. Breathe!"
— SETH GODIN, Author, We Are All Weird "Life is full of lessons. Sometimes we miss them and other times we learn from them.

"Subway Life reveals some of life's essential lessons about why it's important to be connected to the world around us. If not connected, BEWARE!!"
— SANDY VILAS, MCC, CEO, CoachInc.com

"Though a quick read, it's a wonderful metaphor that has stuck with me for days after reading."
— DEREK SIVERS, Author, Founder, CD Baby

"Jeff relates the subway system to life with such humor and understanding that the subway no longer represents only a commute from points A to B, but instead becomes this fantastic transformative vehicle, your carriage of awareness, adven- ture, and choices.
"Like me, you'll want to read 'Subway Life' again right away to be sure you really got all that from a quick book about subways. The answer is: Yes!"
