About the Author: Anna and Serena met in one of the top marketing companies in the world, Procter & Gamble, in 2007. While their characters, backgrounds and ways of doing business were different, they each quickly realised that working hard wasn’t going to be enough to succeed. Their careers went in different directions as they both successfully climbed the corporate ladder. Serena built experience in brand management and in operational marketing, becoming Beauty Marketing and Commercial leader of 40 markets and more than 10 brands. In parallel she co-founded Grace & Wilde Luxury Shapewear, appearing in Vogue, The Times, and Marie Claire magazine, and started writing about leadership and consulting startups. Anna took on roles in both the creative and the commercial side of marketing, eventually becoming the digital leader for brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci and Hugo Boss. Since leaving P&G she has continued to consult on brands like Burberry and Vertu as well as increasingly working with small businesses and startups. She now also works as a career coach, supporting individuals in making a successful transition into a new field or starting their own business. Serena and Anna were reunited in 2015, when they came up with the idea to share everything they had learned over the years about how to succeed in a corporate environment to found Wolf Leaders Academy, a training organisation helping young professionals to be the best that they can be. Both active writers, their posts have been read by more than 1,000,000 people and they have just published their first book together, How to Succeed in Your First Job.
