Synopsis
Philo-Music Therapy
A Self-Therapy, Self-Fulfillment Process
Welcome to the world of Philo-Music Therapy (PMT). It is your World, your inner World, where you will learn to go to feel peaceful yet energized, while also using this inner World to benefit your life and your health. The CD should be utilized after reading my accompanying book, Success From Serenity - Making Your Nervous System Work for You. The book will convey to you the historical and scientific background behind the Philo-Music Therapy approach. It also describes in detail the tools of PMT and how to use them.
The purpose of practicing Philo-Music Therapy is to help you produce exquisite relaxation and, from this serene state, to use positive mental pictures which will help magnetize you to fulfilling and enjoyable life-results.
Ordinarily, the mind is like a pinball in a pinball machine, darting from concern to concern. When you employ the Philo-Music Therapy approach, you will focus on the highest priorities of your life and turn them in a positive direction. This is because of the power you generate by doing positive visualization from expanded brain wave states. The expansion of our brain waves results from achieving total relaxation, as when we sleep, daydream, or meditate. We slip in and out of these intuitive, creative levels of mind all day, unaware; but now you will learn to enter these levels consciously and at will, and for as long as you wish.
The consistent practice of entering relaxed states and projecting idyllic feelings about idyllic results on a mental movie screen is, again, what helps to magnetize your life to positive life-results. You want to get used to the feeling of being there.
All the tools you need to enter inner, relaxed levels of mind and to particpate in your positive visualizations are contained in the Philo-Music Therapy package: my book, CD, and eye mask.
The TRILOGY Experience, the relaxation music on this recording, should be played at a very low volume - through headphones - for optimum effect - to permeate the innermost regions of your psyche. Do find your comfort zone with it.

About the Author
Art Davis launched his musical career at age six en route to becoming a classical violinist. At age 10, he was discovered as a singer, and he performed professionally as a singer-guitarist from then on.
By the time he graduated from college cum laude with a degree in Philosophy, Mr. Davis was an accomplished performer, composer, and writer, performing in such elite establishments as the Bitter End and The Living Room. He also performed at The Friars Club, where his audience consisted of Milton Berle, Joe E. Lewis (then the Abbot of the Friars Club), Sylvia Syms, Billy Daniels, and many other notables.
In the early 1970s his interest in both eastern and western philosophy led him to the field of parapsychology and various methods of mental and physical relaxation. His success with these, as well as other experiential research, generated a strong desire to pass along his dramatic discoveries. Philo-Music Therapy (tm) is the result of years of helping people from all walks of life learn to relax and achieve their goals with his simple yet remarkably effective techniques.
In Art's words: When I first heard about these concepts, and the many notable successful people who had employed them like Andrew Carnegie, the steel magnate, and others, I was somewhat skeptical. However, although I was performing in many of the better nightclubs in New York, I was frustrated by the fact that I hadn't been able to write new music or lyrics in almost a decade. And I was not happy just doing other peoples' songs. I felt I had things to say, but couldn't say them. In addition, I was in another business that I really didn't want to be in.
In short, I was in a state of "stuckness" (including a chronic insomnia). That is when I began quietly developing and practicing the approaches that become Philo-Music Therapy.
Once I learned to quiet down the left brain hemisphere -- the repetitive, sequentially-thinking rational mind, that "radio" that keeps playing the same thoughts over and over -- my intuitive, creative energies emerged. I visualized feeling great about my work and my life. Within days, music and lyrics began pouring through me. And then one night, the TRILOGY Experience came through me, and I knew exactly what its purpose was and that with it, and other powerful modalities that came to me, I could help many, many people learn this very valuable approach in a fun and simple way. And now it is a great pleasure to be writing about and teaching the very process that has worked so beautifully for myself and others.
