About the Author
Merryl Winstein discovered the wonder of artisan cheese when she traveled to Denmark as a teenager. Since 2004, she has taught thousands of people to make the finest artisan cheeses at home. This book is the culmination of 8 years of research and writing.Winstein earned her degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Communications with a minor in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. She raised dairy goats for 22 years in her suburban St. Louis, Missouri backyard. She enjoys travel, playing folk violin, learning languages, and riding bicycles. This is her second book.
