A Sufi's Ruminations on One World under God

Excerpt from this fictional dialogue by the sea between a John Satya Vidyarthi and a Sufi Ahimsa Guruji:

"So you are a Muslim?"

"Yes. And because I am a Muslim, I am a Zoroastrian, a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Christian, a Taoist, a Jew, a Jain, a Sikh, and so forth."

"How is that possible?"

"It is. Let me explain ..."

As the Sufi explains and believes, is there a principle of life -- transcending all religions -- that will help us overcome the barriers of gender, race, nation, and language and enable us to love our neighbor in our global village?

I agree with the Sufi's idea of liberation of God from religious bondage. It's a must read book. -- S. Farrukh Siyar, Business Manager

Ideas expressed in this readable, interesting, and thought provoking book are at once iconoclastic and affirmative, unifying and liberating. -- Gurjit Singh Dhaliwal, MD, Psychiatrist

This book held my interest throughout. It is interesting to contemplate the Sufi's conclusions about God, government, and economics. -- Diane G. Stelly, Book Critic
