He is a Professor in the School of Health Sciences and Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) Program at Central Michigan University where he teaches courses in comparative health systems, organizational behavior, and health systems thinking. He'is a very'active researcher and health science writer with over 100 journal articles and'20 books published. One book read worldwide is Comparative Health Systems: Global Perspectives'where he and co-researchers analyzed the health systems of 20 different countries. Kimberly Sanders-Davey, PhD, MBA, MA, is an associate professor of healthcare administration at Samford University, where she serves as director of the undergraduate healthcare administration program. She also served as the founding director of Samford’s undergraduate public program. Dr. Sanders-Davey has extensive teaching experience in the areas of health systems, comparative health systems, health policy, leadership, management, marketing, and strategy at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. A hallmark of Dr. Sanders-Davey’s teaching is the extensive interdisciplinary and interprofessional nature of her courses. At Samford, she has taught courses across four schools: the School of Public Health, Moffett &Sanders School of Nursing, McWhorter School of Pharmacy, and Cumberland School of Law. Prior to joining Samford, Dr. Sanders-Davey served as a faculty member in the Department of Family, Community, and Health Systems at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing. She earned her PhD in Health Services Administration from UAB, her MBA from Samford University, and her MA in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University.
