Item description from seller

Original full cloth with title gilt-stamped on front, spine chipped. 47, [2] pp., frontispiece plate. This was an early publication of the Colton company, one of the most prominent American map publishers of the 19th century, printed to be an accompaniment to Colton's very large map of New York City (Haskell 817), not present here. The last two pages are a list of recently published Colton maps, including maps printed by Colton for John Farmer of Michigan.
