Copyright date 1878, first edition, first printing. Illustrated throughout by Augustus Hoppin . One half leather and marbled cover over boards with gilt lettering and design on the spine and on the front and back panel. Marbled inside covers front and back gilt top page edges. No Dust Jacket. Shelf wear to the edges and to the head and toe of the spine are moderate with light wear along the groove area of the spines front and back also along the front and back tips. Text and illustrations are bright and clean, binding is secure, a solid book. Size: 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.
