The Summit (Paperback or Softback)

Her late husband made her feel unworthy and small. Now, Andi Sheffield challenges herself by going on a dream adventure alone, into the wilderness of Montana. Will this be her opportunity to cultivate her confidence and find her purpose?

It's here that she meets Daniel Lewis and is forced to re-evaluate the meaning of trust and vulnerability. Fate keeps throwing Daniel in her path, and the passion of their collisions is both beautiful and terrifying. Can the power of their sexual energy open them both enough to be vulnerable and let go of their doubts?

Daniel has a long and murky past of his own. Revealing it might mean losing Andi, and hiding it will violate her trust. Transcending old beliefs is Andi's best chance at release, freedom, and finding her truth. But from the Bob Marshall Wilderness to the Finger Lakes of New York, she is plagued by secrets and fears. Her physical connection with Daniel is spiritual in its intensity but is it enough to let her heart be naked? After all, the truth is an elusive thing.

Alise lives in Upstate New York with her husband. They have two grown sons, love outdoor spaces, big dogs, culinary creativity, music and the sound of water. Alise writes prolifically but this is her first work of fiction.
