Summoned (The Sundance Series)

Every time I come into contact with an alpha leader, something awful happens.
Every. Single. Time.

The cat is out of the bag. Everyone knows Neely Costa MacLeod’s big secret—she’s a deadly spiker who can kill anyone with her mind. Most of the shifters in her current hometown of Sundance, California, have responded with fear. Some with outright hatred.

Neely can’t decide whether to stay and manage her uncle’s bakery or run as fast as she can to a place where no one knows her. The one thing keeping her in Sundance for now is her relation-friend-ship with Lucas Blacke, the local alpha and annoyingly sexy tiger shifter. Only thing is, she doesn’t know if she wants to kiss him or throw him out of her apartment he keeps sneaking into. Both options are strangely appealing.

When Lucas’s ex-alpha leader, an abusive, manipulative wolf shifter, Xavier Malcolm, requests Neely’s help spiking his brain to save his sanity, she really, really wants to run in the opposite direction. She’s never done anything like that before—she’s not even sure it’s possible. But no one says no to Alpha Malcolm without consequences. Dire consequences.

Lucas promises to keep her safe, but he’s an alpha, too—and alphas always want more when it comes to Neely. They want her power for their own, to turn her into a mindless killing machine loyal only to the alpha who turns her. Unsure of whom she can trust, Neely is torn between running away and using her powers for the enemy.
