The Sun, the Moon and the Milky Way (The Land of In-Between)

Step into a world where the stars, the earth, and kind souls show us the beauty and magical truth all around us and inside us.

Colorful illustrations set this meaningful chapter book apart! The pictures are as important as the words. The incredibly talented illustrator of this fairy adventure book lives in Ireland, a land rich in fairy lore! Some readers of all ages sigh with joy when they look at the pictures.

The fun characters value self-care, self-love, inclusion, forgiveness, and animal friendships. Three fairy friends explore the galaxy and hear a native folklore about how feathered Raven's grandpa stole back the sun. Amia is happy her friends have animal buddies and asks for support in finding hers after she dreams about a unicorn.

In the retold ancient Earth legend, Grandma Raven shares a secret and needs help finishing her good deed of bringing back the light to a dark world. Her grandson takes on the challenge in a Pacific Coast folklore of teamwork, determination, and forgiveness. Her brave grandson, the feathered Raven, sets out to bring back the light. Will her clues be enough? Will he ask The Great Wind for help?

Five questions or activities about the native folktale are included for teachers, homeschoolers, parents, or educators. These questions vary, embracing the child or student who is artistic, imaginative, factual, cosmos-minded, or family-focused.

A family or school can cherish this trilogy for generations.
