Original decorated cloth, slightly out of square but fine, neatly pencilled translations of individual words into Swedish throughout, pp. 16/17 dicolored by a newpaper clipping, "Sir Almroth Wright död". London, James Nisbet & Co., 1890. 8vo. viii + 136 pp. (incl. adverisements at end) + 8 plates (Stockholm, The Bosphorus, Old Rectory, Middleton-on-Tees, Dresden, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Belfast, Uppsala). With a section at end about H.R.H. Princess Eugenie. Only published in English and therefore not listed in Leijonhufvud & Brithelli, Kvinnan inom svenska litteraturen intill år 1893 (1893, facs. ed. 1978). The authoress was daughter of Nils Wilhelm Almroth (1797-1852), Director of the Royal Mint, and she grew up in Stockholm.
