Sunchaser's Gambit (Paperback or Softback)

Betrayal is ugly, especially when it destroys the only thing you still treasure.

Garik Shayk has run out of easy options.

His girlfriend, Marisa, is dead. His non-human half rages out of control, and he's back in the Tower's clutches, unsure where he stands.

Cooperation seems to be his only option. Trust, however, is hard to come by. When he is praised by his captors, he relaxes his guard and allows himself to think he finally fits in.

His fragile trust is betrayed when Halo Sunchaser sacrifices Garik's one true ally outside of Corona Tower to cement her position of power.

The electrified sword has returned for vengeance, and its deadly power haunts him once more.

Don't plug into this book unless you're prepared to supercharge your idea of what is and is not possible. Sunchaser's Gambit will leave you panting for a taste of more.

About the Author:

Farley Dunn has written books for over ten years and established his publishing company, Three Skillet Publishing, after retiring from his decades-long career as an educator, specializing mostly in creative writing.

The concept for this series of books comes from his nephew, who emailed the locations that needed to be in Bay City (although he didn't name the city) and three of the major characters in Corona Tower (also unnamed). Farley spliced the information together with ways that he thought the story could evolve, and this is what came out of that.

Farley looks forward to sharing each book as it writes itself. This is a two-and-a-half-year project. He expects to enjoy writing the final book, The Russian's Revenge, as much as the first.
