Sunday And The Sabbath: Or The Reasons For Identifying The Lord's Day Of The Apostles With The Sabbath Of Moses (1853)

Sunday And The Sabbath: Or The Reasons For Identifying The Lords Day Of The Apostles With The Sabbath Of Moses is a book written by William Henry Johnstone and published in 1853. The book explores the relationship between Sunday, the day of worship for Christians, and the Sabbath, the day of rest and worship for Jews. Johnstone argues that the Lord's Day, which is Sunday, is in fact the same day as the Sabbath of Moses, and provides evidence from the Bible and other historical sources to support this claim. The book also delves into the history of the Sabbath and its significance in both Jewish and Christian traditions. This work is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of religious observance and the relationship between Judaism and Christianity. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
