Stiff black, green and silver patterned paper wraps with green canvas backstrip and green and black lettering. Rubbing to all edges, corners rubbed and creased. Reader's crease to spine. Scuffing to wraps. Dampstain to upper margin throughout second half of book. Front endpaper has been removed. Some thumb smudging throughout, but text is overall clean and bright, previous owner signature to reverse side of front cover. Book is organized alphabetically by ingredient name (Artichokes to Tomatoes, Apples to Youngberries, etc.) with a short descriptive essay on each category (Vegetables, Fruits and Nuts, etc.) followed by recipes utilizing them.
