Laura Appleton-Smith is an early childhood educator with a degree in English and creative writing from Middlebury College. Laura combines her degrees and talents to create books for beginning readers that will introduce them to the joys of the reading experience. Laura Appleton-Smith lives in New Hampshire with her husband and Golden Retriever who stars in this story as "Bud".
