About the Authors

Dr. Robert Keith Wallace did pioneering research on the Transcendental Meditation technique. His seminal papers-published in Science, American Journal of Physiology, and Scientific American-on a fourth major state of consciousness support a new paradigm of mind-body medicine and total brain development. Dr. Wallace is the founding President of Maharishi International University and has traveled around the world giving lectures at major universities and institutes, and has written and co-authored several books. He is presently a Trustee of Maharishi International University, and Chairman of the Department of Physiology and Health.

Ted Wallace is currently an Agile Coach at Principal Financial Group. He has completed two Master of Science degrees, one in Computer Science and the other in Physiology, from Maharishi International University. He is a certified Scrum Master Professional (CSM, CSPO, CSP, CTC) and a registered corporate coach (RCC) with thousands of hours of coaching sessions.

A former model, Samantha Jones Wallace was featured on the covers of such magazines as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, and Look. She is a long-time practitioner of Transcendental Meditation and has a deep understanding of Ayurveda and its relationship to health and well-being. Samantha is a co-author of Self, Empower, Gut Crisis, The Rest And Repair Diet, The Coherence Code, Total Brain Coaching, and Trouble In Paradise. She is also the co-author of Quantum Golf (Editions One and Two) and was an editor of Dharma Parenting. Happily married for over forty years, the Wallaces have a combined family of four children and six grandchildren.
