Este Homem de Aço, tal como o de Siegel e Shuster, está mais preocupado com a justiça que com a letra da lei, não tem qualquer pejo em fazer frente às forças da autoridade e deixá-las com algumas nódoas negras se achar que estão comprometidas ou que lhe desejam mal e, à falta de termo melhor, tem ainda “sangue na guelra”. E embora Morisson inicie a história com um Super-Homem ainda incapaz de voar e não tão forte assim, o arco termina com o Último Filho de Krypton a descobrir o seu legado e a ver o seu poder crescer. Ou seja, acabamos com um Super-Homem com todo o poder que se lhe conhece, mas sem uma série dos traços de personalidade com que ele o temperara nas décadas anteriores.
