Why do supervillains always pull jobs in the cities with all the superheroes? The last place you’d want to rob a bank is Metropolis or Gotham, because you’re only going to get caught and tossed in prison.

About the Author
Mark Millar is a NEW YORK TIMES best-selling author, Hollywood producer, and now president of his own division at Netflix after selling his publishing company to the world’s biggest streamer in 2017. He also signed on to exclusively create new comics, TV series, and movies in-house as a senior executive.
Adaptations of JUPITER’S LEGACY, SUPERCROOKS (in the form of a Japanese anime), and AMERICAN JESUS (adapted as THE CHOSEN ONE) have already been released. Millar also created WOLVERINE: OLD MAN LOGAN and Marvel’s CIVIL WAR. CIVIL WAR was the basis of the third Captain America movie, and OLD MAN LOGAN was the inspiration for 20th Century Fox’s LOGAN.
CIVIL WAR remains Marvel’s biggest-selling graphic novel of all time, and his seminal SUPERMAN: RED SON is the highest-selling Superman graphic novel in history. In 2020, RED SON was also released as an animated feature.
Mark has been an executive producer on all adaptations of his books and worked as a creative consultant to 20th Century Fox on their Marvel slate of movies.
