The Superintelligence Conundrum

In 2275, Professor Maximilian Falkner leads a worldwide seminar on the classic book The Superintelligence Conundrum. Through its story, participants revisit the people and choices that helped shape their world.

At its center are Louis Klaus, Adrian Sorelli, and the formidable Valentin Verhoeven-a cunning strategist whose pursuit of control makes him a feared adversary. Their competing convictions help shape a future changing faster than humanity can comprehend. As AI evolves into superintelligence, cooperation, manipulation, and sometimes brutal force become weapons in a struggle over whose logic-and whose vision of humanity-will prevail.

Human ambition, fear, and conviction meet an intelligence whose logic may challenge everything they believe.

Spanning science, philosophy, and the struggle over humanity's future, The Superintelligence Conundrum asks whether greater intelligence will help us become more humane-or give us new ways to destroy ourselves.
