Supply Chain Planning, Second Edition: An Analytics-Based Approach

The book is intended for supply chain professionals, as well as for graduate and advanced undergraduate students. Practitioners will obtain valuable new insights and examples of implementable frameworks and methods for managing their supply chain functions and organizations. Students will develop an understanding of real-world approaches for supply chain planning, decision support, and many other key activities.

Matthew J. Liberatore, PhD, is the John F. Connelly chair in management at the Villanova School of Business, Villanova University. He previously served as associate dean, management department chair and director of the Center for Business Analytics. He also held management positions at FMC Corporation. Matt has published extensively in supply chain management, operations research/analytics, information systems, project management and health care decision making, and received BA, MS and PhD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.

Tan Miller, PhD, is a professor and the director of the supply chain management program at Rider University. Previously he was responsible for the operations of Johnson & Johnson's US Consumer Distribution Network. He also has headed the U.S. Consumer Healthcare Logistics Network of Pfizer, and held positions with Mercer Management Consulting, Unisys, Warner-Lambert, and American Olean Tile Company. Tan has published extensively on logistics, and received an MA, MBA and PhD degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
