Anna E. Flynn is currently an NAPM Associate Professor. Previously she was a Senior Lecturer in the undergraduate program in supply chain management at Arizona State University. She is co-author of "Value-Driven Purchasing: Managing the Key Steps in the Acquisition Process", and research assistant on "Purchasing and Supply Management" with Michiel R. Leenders and Harold E. Fearon. She is also president of Prescott, AZ-based Purchasing Education Plus (PEP). Flynn holds a degree in international studies from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from ASU, and a Ph.D. in Learning and Instructional Technology from ASU.
Sam Farney is the principal of Supply Chain Advisors. He recently retired from United Technologies Corporation's (UTC) corporate supply management team. During his more than 35 years of service Mr. Farney provided UTC with project leadership, team facilitation, and training. Mr. Farney has a B.S. in marine engineering and held positions in engineering and purchasing with Carrier, before joining the UTC corporate staff.
