A Sure Path: Moving Ahead with Christ When We'd Rather Settle Down in the World

It's almost a cliche to talk of life as a journey and of Christians as pilgrims. Though we're tempted to say, "So what?" or "Who cares?" A Sure Path suggests we think again about the question, "How will you walk this uncharted path of faith?" In her natural, flowing style, Susan Scott Sutton gives practical guidance for pursuing the one-of-a-kind path God has put before us—finding our unique goals, lighting our special paths, and discovering the God who knows each step before we take it. Each chapter includes notes for the journey—quotes from well-known Christians, a "for reflection" section with Scripture verses, and journaling suggestions.

“The path you walk is a sure one; therefore you can walk it with confidence no matter what and whom you meet along the way.”

Choosing Christ means embracing the life of a pilgrim and journeying confidently toward an unseen destination. It means abandoning loyalties that seem perfectly natural and making choices that take us beyond the comforts we think are so important.

In this warmly written book, Susan Sutton acknowledges that this path is not always easy, but God has provided plenty of traveling tips—as well as a personal Guide—to help us make the journey with rewards we can never experience otherwise. Sutton’s insights urge us to accept the challenge—for only on this path can we discover the loving God who is always a step ahead of us. Each chapter includes notes for the journey—quotes from well-known Christians, a “for reflection” section with Scripture verses, and journaling suggestions.

“This book is to encourage you to do your part . . . to take your life with God as seriously as He does.”
