Ruth Moen Cabanting was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated from San Jose State University where she majored in graphic design and illustration. After graduating, she moved to HawaiÔi where she has worked as an art director, designer and illustrator for ad agencies, design firms, and a Japanese department store. Cabanting lives in WaimŠnalo.
