A comprehensive work on the ceremonial county of Surrey, with chapters on the riverside, Pilgrim's Way, the Roman road, Leith Hill, Hindhead, the Brighton roads, and much more. Written by A. R. Hope Moncrieff, a Scottish writer and historian. Illustrated by Harold Sutton Palmer, an English watercolour landscape painter and illustrator. Rebacked with the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the endpapers. Very Good.
