Published: 1974. DESCRIPTION: A collection of facsimile plates of maps of Surrey between 1575 and 1825, edited by Harry Margary. Complete sets of twenty-five plates of maps, the majority of which are double page. Includes maps from Christopher Saxton, John Norden, John Speed, John Ogilby, Pieter va der Keere, Herman Moll, John Sennex et al. Bound in publisher's original cloth binding, with paper title label to front board. Language: English. Book Condition: Very Good: Minor bruising to corners, edges and spine ends. Clean cloth. Lightly toned rirle plate with marks to margins. Minor spotting to lower margins of front and rear endpapers. A few spots to text block edges with very occasional inor mark to a few pages.
