About the Author

Thomas P. Edmonds, Ph.D., is the Friends and Alumni Professor of Accounting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Dr. Edmonds has taught in the introductory area throughout his career. Philip R. Olds is Associate Professor of Accounting at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He serves as the coordinator of the introduction to accounting courses at VCU. Frances M. McNair holds the KPMG Peat Marwick Professorship in Accounting at Mississippi State University (MSU). Bor-Yi Tsay, Ph.D., CPA, is Professor of Accounting at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) where he has taught since 1986.
