Final report of a survey project intended to explore the problem of declining enrolment in foreign language study by US students, and how this problem may be addressed and mitigated. The survey was an extension and update on the findings of a conference, Materials Development Needs in the Less Commonly Taught Languages: Priorities for the Seventies, held in 1975. The present report was subsequently submitted to the US Department of Education. Comb bound, 133 leaves printed on recto side only. Extensive list of texts then in use by language. Size: 28 x 22 cm.
