A Survey of Racialism in Christian Sacred Tradition (Paperback)

Paperback. "One thing ought be made very clear. no form of today's racial communism existed in historical thought, Christian or otherwise. This piece, if it is to be taken as a message, is a defense of identity and integrity." -Alexander Storen A Survey of Racialism in Christian Sacred Tradition is a compendium of historical Christian sources, ranging from an extensive study of the Church Fathers' writings to more recent figures in the Christian world. It addresses today's debates over race, kin, the rights of nations, and "Christian Nationalism," with a thorough argument drawn entirely from primary sources. Writings (both direct and indirect) on ethnicity, nationalism, borders, immigration, blood relation, racial differences, and similar topics are explored with annotated selections from various Saints, Popes, and clergy. Galatians 3:28 and Tobit 4:12-13 are examined through the eyes of the Church Fathers and other key voices in Christian thought and doctrine. With over 400 pages of organized and annotated source material, A Survey of Racialism in Christian Sacred Tradition is the culmination of extensive research and curation. Through a close examination of Christian history and doctrine, Storen provides a strong historico-theological backing for a faithful approach to questions of race and identity - arriving at conclusions that often shatter the mainstream consensus.
