Still Surviving

Written by an 8th Grade English class from Texas. “I'm growing up, and yes I'm going to be someone in life because you only live once, and I'm not gonna sit here to just watch it just pass me by so easy. I'ma be a fighter till the end and never doubt myself because if I give everything— I do all I can, there's nothing that I can't accomplish in life… when the world takes all you care about away, you have to get up and try again because each time you get back up, you’re an even stronger person than before” (50).
