Pastor Christopher Zolkowski graduated in Psychology at the University of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He also graduated with a nursing degree at Fox Valley Technical College. He was a missionary at the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in North Dakota. He is currently working in Bolivar, Missouri alongside other pastors to help the homeless and others with past addiction. Christopher has worked with people of all backgrounds and age groups. He has led children's groups, youth groups, and adult bible studies. He has also worked with people with mental health and have seen them have victory in Christ. His heart is to see people find restoration and healing through their savior Christ Jesus.

Kristin Zolkowski has a background in early childhood education. She has reached out the homeless and broken from an early age, desiring to see them made whole. Coming from a very broken background herself, she has found it a great joy to come alongside her husband Chris in aiding and supporting this community in finding Christ and working with people who have a great deal of past trauma and woundedness. This book is written with that in mind. Her desire is to see people of God healed and made whole.
