About the Author

NINA HOFFMANN is the award-winning senior editor at Philadelphia Weekly, where the special coverage she co-edited on rape culture won the Association of Alternative Newsmedia's 2012 Public Service Award. JOEL HOFFMANN is a two-time recipient of the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association's Distinguished Writing Award. The couple are both alumni of Temple University's graduate journalism program; they currently reside in Center City Philadelphia.
